Reliability and safe operations is not only a major competitive advantage, but an investment in the good-will of an airline. Today — more than ever — every crew is expected to make decisions of vital importance under demanding conditions.

For the airline focusing on their core business, Albert Consulting offers a complete pilot selection process including aptitude tests, team work exercises, one-to-one interviews and computer based tests. The outcome is subject to a clinical examination of both skills and personality of the candidate. A unique dynamic profile for each ab initio/pilot is presented to the airline.

For the Airline this means fewer failures and improved output of training investments, saved time and fewer delays and re-examinations due to students who are not meeting the required standards. This also means you may expect screened trainees who are able and motivated for their careers, pursuing flight safety and growth.

WE OFFER

OUR CONCEPT IS BASED ON

Individual interviews are dynamic examinations where personality data are added and evaluated in relation to skills and capacities. This step examines particularly dimensions such as ability to make decisions, judgment, responsibility, power of action, social competence and leadership potentials but also possible personality disorders. The outcomes clearly show the strengths and weaknesses of the candidate’s ability to handle the demands on the flight deck.

We perform dynamic assessments, i.e. no single test is a sole determining factor. Data are viewed in relation to each other to provide a good understanding of all the candidate’s abilities and an individual and dynamic profile is created for each pilot.

Our prognosis is based on an evaluation of candidates’ current skills and abilities. It also includes, as far as feasible, an analysis of candidates’ future potentials to become Captains.

The results are integrated in a final report with a qualitative description of the pilot candidate and a quantitative summary of the crucial dimensions. Additional specific company and cultural dimensions are added after discussions with the airline.
